behind GOUD

"GOUD was born from a desire to make fashion feel less predictable."

Founded by Bulgarian designer Gabriela Georgieva, GOUD is an independent fashion label exploring the space between clothing, sculpture and visual art.

What started as an experiment with form, material and unconventional techniques has grown into a constantly evolving world of garments, sculptural corsets, wearable art and stage costumes.

For the past two years, GOUD has been developing a language of its own — one built around sculptural silhouettes, unexpected materials, craftsmanship and the freedom to create outside the traditional boundaries of fashion.

Textile meets resin. Softness meets structure. Fashion meets sculpture.

A particularly important part of GOUD's story is the person behind the craftsmanship of many of our garments — Gabriela's mother, who has been working in sewing and garment production for more than 30 years. Her knowledge of construction, fabrics and garment making brings generations of experience into the process, while Gabriela's work with unconventional materials and sculptural forms pushes the designs into new territory.

Together, they bring together two very different approaches: decades of traditional garment-making experience and a new, experimental approach to fashion.

Every GOUD piece begins with an idea and evolves through a hands-on, experimental process. Some pieces are designed to become part of an everyday wardrobe. Others are created for editorials, performances, stages, music videos, festivals and moments that demand something unforgettable.

GOUD has been featured in Bulgarian and international fashion publications and has collaborated on custom garments and stage costumes for artists and creative projects.

We create made-to-order pieces, limited designs and one-of-a-kind creations — because we believe fashion becomes more meaningful when there is intention behind what is made.
